Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Paradigm you podcast.

Speaker 2:

You're listening to the Paradigm you podcast. This is episode 159, and today we are continuing the series of harnessing the power of your subconscious mind. Today's topic is all about feelings and how our feelings truly do shape the environments, the energy and the world that we are living in. Listen in.

Speaker 3:

You're listening to the Paradigm you podcast. You're about to start transforming your life by growing your mind and expanding your paradigms. Here we'll cover real life topics, just like the stuff you'd share with a good friend. This podcast will serve up topics that weigh on our hearts and keep us up at night, whether it's navigating parenthood and becoming an adult, or wayfinding, personal development, marriage and money. You, my friend, are in the right place. I'm glad you're here.

Speaker 4:

Hello and welcome, welcome listeners. Lisa Sarnowski here, and I am here with the amazing April Merluzki-Hudsonski, and today we are going to keep this one super short and simple, but we promise you it is equally as powerful for you to understand this key part in order to harness the power of your subconscious mind. So today we are sharing all about why it's important for you to understand the importance of feelings on your journey. April, talk to us about the importance of feelings with reprogramming our subconscious mind.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, let's go for it. All right, don't be fooled, this is going to be a short episode, but it is jam-packed with good stuff. So when we're reprogramming our subconscious minds, our subconscious mind is going to link the thoughts that we have to feelings. And if we can get into the feelings of whatever we're wanting to create in our life and we can drop into that environment and we can imagine ourselves feeling it, we can smell the smells, we can feel all the feelings, we can truly create a different level of awareness of whatever that future envisioned self that we want to create is going to actually be. That's going to reprogram our subconscious at a completely different level than if we just think a thought and we just let it stop right there.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, the language of our mind is really multi-sensory and so being able to tap into, going back to last week and we were rewriting the stories for yourself, if you think about who you want to be a year from now, how will you feel? How will you feel and really tap into that? Because really, as human beings, we are simply energy and what our subconscious mind loves the most is really tapping into the highest vibrations of our energy. April share with the listeners, real quick, some of those top energy vibrations that we want to tap into.

Speaker 2:

Oh, watch out, you guys. If you start going down this rabbit hole with me, you are going to have so much fun. So I've mentioned in the podcast over the years a book called Power Versus Force and this is by David R Hawkins and he talks about the energetic scale and how we can link our feelings to different frequencies that our bodies are going to be vibrating at. So some of those high levels. So actually let's start at the low levels, lisa, if you don't mind, because I think it's important to recognize, because you might be like, ooh, I'm here, but I want to take myself to the next level, that might be a little bit different. Then, oh, yep, I hear these high levels, but I'm not there yet. So let me talk about some of these, because when I came into this concept and this scale, I was in a pretty dark spot and for listeners who've listened for quite a few years, you know you've walked alongside that journey with me and you know I was in the spot.

Speaker 2:

I was feeling a lot of guilt and grief and fear and shame and, for example, grief, apathy, guilt and shame. Those are all in the suffering category and those are very low vibration. Shame, for example, is at a 20, and grief it goes up to grief, which is 75. Fear, though I think fear is an important one that a lot of us can relate to that's 100 if we're looking at that energetic scale. So then, if you go up the scale a little bit more, we're going into a struggling state, and that would be things like desire, anger, pride. Those are, for example, desires at 125, anger is at 150, pride is 175, and sometimes I think some people might think pride.

Speaker 2:

That wouldn't be a negative thing, but from the lens of how you're, you know, vibrating and what energetic environment you're creating for the frequency scale, that's not exactly the numbers that you're wanting to aspire to. We're looking for things like courage, which would be more of an empowerment stance, and that would be at a level 200. But then, if you keep going up, you're going into that transformation state. That's a really exciting spot to be. That's like when you're willing to explore who you are and where you want to go. Or acceptance, for maybe, for example, for giving all of your past and releasing some attachment to the future, acceptance would be at a 350, but then we start getting really high and this is where it gets a little wildly. So, for example, love is at 500, joy is at 540, peace is at a frequency of 600, and then we're all shooting for that enlightenment of 700 to 1000.

Speaker 2:

Kind of wild if you start looking at it from an energetic stance.

Speaker 2:

But the reason we wanted to talk today about feelings is because you may be at a place of fear right now. There's a lot of people, there's a lot of weird things happening in the world. There sure are, yeah. And if you look at it from a frequency and an energy level, if a lot of the world is feeling and operating at that 100 spot for fear, if we go back to the fear level, that's a lower frequency on this planet and we want to get that up higher. We want to aspire more towards that love and joy frequency. But to do that you may have to actually tap into your subconscious and change some of the stories that you've been having on repeat in your own mind so that you can raise and elevate that. You know I have an equation, lisa, that I keep on my bathroom mirror and it says my thoughts equal my feelings, my feelings equal my vibration and my vibration equals my frequency. So it really comes back to those thoughts that we were talking about last week when we were talking about the stories.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, absolutely and, listeners, really tapping into these higher level vibration feelings is what will support your subconscious reprogramming. If you're here listening to us and you're an American, this is our week of Thanksgiving. Gratitude is a high vibe state, as well as love, and equally we want to honor, wherever you're at on the journey because sometimes it's April referred to that you're in that lower state and you almost forgot what it's like to be happy to have unconditional love, to be at peace, or even, as Deepak Chopra says, his highest level of energy is one of awe and just feeling an awe in life. So what we would encourage you to do this week, as you continue to move forward with your subconscious reprogramming, is to consider Getting yourself in a situation or a space where you actually feel something of higher vibration and really allowing that feeling to soak over you and remembering that feeling within the story that you wrote last week.

Speaker 2:

I'm so excited for all of you to start working on this. You know this is an interesting journey. I will Do the disclaimer and say when you start to pay attention to this, you might be looking at me like, oh wow, I've been operating and vibing at a really low level. I was right there. I was feeling a lot of shame and guilt and fear for a very long time and what I can tell you is when I started tapping into subconscious reprogramming and changing my thoughts and changing the stories out were on repeat. That's when I was able to start changing and elevating that vibration up to a higher level.

Speaker 2:

But here's a really cool hack. If you're like, where do I even start? The first thing you can do really easily is understand that your brain can only have one thought at a time. So if you, for example, are you listen to last week at last week's episode and you're like holy cow, the stories that are on repeat in my head are all at that fear level. I'm fearful of things. I'm worrying about things that are out of my control. Change the thought and you can just stop that. At least I'll let you talk a little bit more about how you can change that rapidly because I know you've talked and educated a lot of our students with an elevate on that.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, we have a technique that we like to use and it's really just a pattern and eruption where you just tell yourself like you catch yourself in the thought, whatever that negative thought is, because it's Thanksgiving in America and I know we have global listeners, but I think everyone can relate to the power of being in the room of family and sometimes the stress that that can create, and so if you're in a situation, for example, over the holidays, and you find yourself in a negative thought, you can just tell yourself, catch the thought and you just say I'm not my thought, I'm the observer of my thought, and then you just move your attention to wherever you want that to be and something that makes you feel Happier.

Speaker 4:

Okay, can, it could be anything, but the key is the awareness and the real quick changing of the thought, and that that in the itself takes energy. But really where we want you to focus this week is allowing yourself to experiment and play and have fun in finding those higher vibration feelings for you in the show notes we would like to share Maybe a link with that be okay, april to some of these, these higher vibration, so you can see what that looks like an energetic scale and really enjoy this time of year. It's such a wonderful time of year when you can allow yourself to simply be in it and accept what what's around you. You get to control how you feel and you get to control the vibes that you're bringing to anything.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and if you're having a hard time with this because, I'll be honest, when I was in a lower vibration energy, I would say that it was harder, for if I heard something like that and somebody's like you know you got this, you can just change your thoughts. I'm like Okay, but I'm constantly recalibrating my thoughts every few seconds. It was just on repeat. I had somebody introduce me to this concept and you know there's actually really fun video, least I'm not sure if you're familiar with. There's a National geographic photographer. What is his name? D with jones, d with jones, and he says look for what's right.

Speaker 2:

In any experience, if you look for what's right instead of looking for what's wrong, then you're focusing your shifting your attention, like you said, where you moving your attention to.

Speaker 2:

So if it's instead of like, oh yeah, I'm just gonna try and have that thought, if you actually decide, okay, I'm just gonna look for what's right right now Actually have a practice that I've been trying the last few weeks and it's looking for miracles on a regular basis.

Speaker 2:

So on a daily basis, I list out what are the miracles that are all around me on a regular basis. So that could be as simple as, like I have running water. I'm really grateful for that and it could be something much larger, but I find that really helpful to start looking for what's right and recognizing that if you have only one thought at a time, you get to choose those thoughts. So on that note, we want to say we are grateful for all of our listeners. We are so thankful and we are really excited to tie all of this together because now we've Giving you a lot of tools to start considering how you want to reprogram your subconscious and shift those thoughts and the mindset and where you want to go. So next week we're gonna wrap it all up together and and we'll bring it all home and give you all the tools so that you can harness the power of your subconscious. On that note, it is closing time. Cheers to good karma.

Fix your body and what do they do to fix your body? Heal my body, good one. So the little workers heal your body. Very cool. And what is something else, I'm sorry. What is something that we say every single day?
