Speaker 1:

92% of people don't achieve their goals. Let's make sure that you're part of the 8% who does.

Speaker 2:

Welcome to the Paradigm you Podcast.

Speaker 3:

Welcome to the Paradigm you Podcast. We want to ring the bell with you on this new year. At least do it one more time for me, come on. Oh right, happy 24-24. When she said she wanted to ring the new year in with everybody, I thought she was joking, no, and then she came. She came, she showed up today. Sure did I love it. Well, we are here in the new year and we are just so flippin' excited to start this new year with you. As we said in the last podcast last year, back in 2023, you know, way back then yes, we said we believe that 2024 is going to be the year of action and that starts today. My friends, right now, let's go Lease. What do you think about 2024? Let's talk about goals. You know I love a good goals conversation.

Speaker 1:

Yeah for sure except that all the goal setting that's being promoted and talked about, we're doing it all wrong, and so I'm excited that we're going to bring this conversation for all of our listeners so that this year you're going to actually crush your goals. So excited, right, it seems so simple, but you know, the first week of January, 23% of New Year's resolutions out the window. In the first week, First week, 23% no longer exists.

Speaker 3:

That's almost a quarter.

Speaker 1:

I know, and by the end of January it's 43%. Wow, yes. So we want you to not be part of any of those statistics. In fact, what we want for you, if you want it for you, is to join us in being part of the 8% of people that actually stick with their goals for the year 8%.

Speaker 3:

Did I hear that correctly? Did you just say only 8% make it through the whole year with their goals?

Speaker 1:

8% of people are yes, who achieved their goals in the year. 92% do not.

Speaker 3:

Wow, and you know what? Okay, I just have to ask our listeners. All right, my friends, if you're listening to this and you're as shocked as I am by those statistics I mean, I knew that they were close to that, but I didn't realize that they were that extreme I would like to ask you what do you think about that? Do you believe it and where do you fit? Yeah, Right.

Speaker 1:

And so if you've been doing goal-setting and all the planning and all the prep for your life goals or business the same exact way, you've always done them, we know you're going to get the same exact result and we want something different for you, because we know you want something different for you. That's why we're all here together on the podcast, so we'd like to invite you and ask you have you asked yourself a few questions? Oh, lisa, what questions Tell me? Yes, two simple questions, right? The first is what goals did you achieve for yourself or your business last year and why? What goals did you not achieve for yourself or your business last year and why? We want you to really reflect on these because in two weeks, we're going to be coming back and we are going to be sharing with you more about why traditional goal-setting isn't going to work and, most importantly, how you can actually do goal-setting that will stick for the lifetime that you want, that habit.

Speaker 2:

I'm so excited.

Speaker 3:

I am so excited. Oh gosh, you start talking about goals. I salivate anyways, I'm a goals junkie. Yes, you are. I love that about you, by the way.

Speaker 3:

I'll claim that one. I think you know what. I think I need a t-shirt that says that I like it. I'm buying one. Oh man, I will wear that one with pride. But I think that you're spot on. I think that you know those statistics are. We're even half right. Yes, that means that most people are going about goal-setting all wrong, but the statistics are proof that the way people have been doing goals all along is just not working. Yeah, I'm so excited that we've truly kind of uncovered some of the areas that we can be of service to our listeners to show you how to actually do goals. That stick.

Speaker 1:

You know it's so exciting, it's so I'm just. I equally want to tell the listeners. Am I allowed to tell them about the podcast?

Speaker 3:

Yes, yes, you can totally tell, yes.

Speaker 1:

Okay, awesome. On this same level of goal setting, april and I have completely revised our vision for the business moving forward and to honor our partnership, our white space, our goals, and to be an integrity with all of that, we are intentionally going to be moving to an every other week podcast schedule. This will be so great for each and every one of you because we are going to be bringing more depth and more content and, equally, giving you the time and the space in between our podcasts to implement what you're learning, to apply it to your life and your business.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we don't want any of the surface level. I listened to it and then, two days later, I've forgotten what they said, because that's not why we do this podcast. We do this podcast to create expansion in your life. We do this podcast so that we can guide you in the areas of topics of life and create expansion in your paradigms so that you can step into whatever that next level of life is for you. Yeah, that means that we also know we've seen proof on it. We actually just talked about this back in 2023, at the end of the year, when we were reflecting on our own partnership that when you create space, you allow things to set in, they really do sink in better and that they stick longer.

Speaker 3:

We've decided to move the model of this podcast to every two weeks. We have a model that is going to ask you some important questions that we'd like you to stew on when we're not in your ear, lisa. What is the question and what do we want people to be thinking about over the next two weeks? Because two weeks from now, my friends, buckle up, come with your pen and paper because that podcast, oh my gosh. We really do believe that you, and most of the majority. I guess I can't speak to you individually, but the majority of people are doing goals all wrong.

Speaker 3:

What do we need to do to be prepared for our podcast two weeks from now, Lisa.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, what a great question. Again, we want you to reflect on these questions, which is simply what goals did you achieve last year and why? What goals did you not achieve last year and why? No judgment, no shame. Let's just look at the data. Let's just clear on what did and didn't happen, whether that's your business, your life goals. Again, bring it all. When we talk next, you definitely are going to want your pen and paper ready, as April's already indicated, because we are going to break down some things that we know is going to really support you in achieving everything you want this year, and actually so much more. That's what's super exciting. Bring it all. Let's make sure that you're part of the 8 percent that really reaches their goals this year.

Speaker 3:

Lisa, would it be crazy cool if we actually impact that statistic. That might be a? That's a huge KPI. Yeah, I just totally set my sights on that one, because, gosh, you know when people can actually stick with their goals and they identify those goals that are going to make an impact, and then we're having the ripple effect. You guys, this is really exciting stuff. So here's the other thing that I would like to request. I know, lisa, you gave everybody some questions that you want them to reflect on. Here's my request to you, listeners If you notice anybody over the next two weeks that are dropping off other goals this is all out of love I want you to reach out to them and I want you to extend an invitation to join us on our next podcast.

Speaker 3:

Maybe it's just a link that says hey, friend, I would love for you to listen to this with me, because I'm going to be working on my goals and I'd love for you to do this too. But, boy, if you can love up on somebody, if you see them dropping off their goals, that quickly invite them, because they need to hear this. Oh gosh, it just my heart is like excited for them, because this can change the lives of a lot of people and we would love for you to extend that invitation to them and love up on anybody you see who's dropping off. What was it? 23% the first week, first week yes, that's insane. So 23% of the people around you in your life. I want you to invite to listen to this next podcast, Lisa. You got anything else to share with the people listening other than ringing in the new year?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm excited to be here with you and excited to be on the journey of growth for another year. Let's do this. Where's the bell?

Speaker 3:

Right, we gotta get the bell. I love it All. Right, my friends, you can tell that we are super excited to be on this journey with you. You guys are going to rock 2024 and we're going to be right there with you, offering up a lot of great resources to support you and walk alongside your journey. On that note, it is closing time.
